To identify individuals auditioning our Stereopravda SPearphone SB-7A, they are: Rick Rubin, Peter Lyngdorf, Dr. Fang of HiFiMan and Tyll Hertsens, editor at InnerFidelity.com, founder ofHeadRoom (headphone.com), and unrepentant headphone geek.
By the way, I bought my first quality earphones, the veneravble Etymotic Research ER-4S from Tyll in 1993, my first external headphone amp was also bought at the pre-Internet HeadRoom in 1994, and my first digital player, the still unbeatable HiFiMan H-801 was also bought there.
So, in terms of portable audio, he, really, steered my way, and if
can call Mead Killion of Etymotic Research my "portable" God-Father,
then Tyll can be called the Catalyst.
