BLOG # 78. Misha Kucherenko’s book "Stereo Pravda - A Politically Incorrect Review Of High End Audio" Is Just Published (in Russian, an English translation is pending)

The book is published by Time Machine publishing house from Saint Petersburg (336 pages, 48 color photos).

Even the Time Machine (sic!) can't tell if it's either the least appropriate moment for its release, or the most appropriate one.

Only the time itself will tell...


The book was planned to be released in time for the Moscow HiFi & High End Show-2020 originally scheduled to start in a few days on April the 3rd, and then moved to be held in September. Tomorrow, April the 5th, at 12 noon, I am supposed to do a formal presentation of it there.

So, the date of the book’s delivery from the printing shop coincided with the last working day before the drastic implementation of the Russian Government's coronavirus State of Alert Decree's first really decisive measures on the next day - the March 28th.


[N.B. the word “pravda” in Russian stands for the “truth”, while the word “stereo” in Greek stands for the ”solid”, e.g. “stereotype”]
